He is survived by: his wife Julie Martin (Grant); his daughters, Samantha Martin of San Antonio, TX, Cassandra Martin of San Antonio, TX, Angela Martin of Wichita, KS, Cynthia Nowman (Jason) and Alice Fox (Jesse); his grandchildren, Adeline of Kankakee, Avery of Kankakee, Thomas of Kankakee, Kas of Kankakee and Hannah of Kankakee; his sisters, Rebecca Ferro, Linda Martin and Barbara Bodoh; and his siblings-in-law, Kristen Grant, Denys Grant, Laurie Bass, Lisa Grant, Martine Berghouse, Danita Swanson, David Grant (Terri), Patrick Grant, Jeffrey Grant (Beth), Thomas Grant (Jill), Matthew Grant (Kathy) and Peter Grant (Lesley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 953 S 9th St, Kankakee, IL 60901. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (207 S Main St, Manteno, IL 60950).
