She was predeceased by : her parents, William B. Hawkins and Iva Hawkins (Galvin); and her brother Oral Milburn Hawkins. She is survived by : her husband Jim; her siblings, Jane Hutchison (Bob) of Walker, MO, Mary Nell Lombardi (Dean) of Las Vegas, NV, Marge Hunter of Merriam, KS, Clifton Hawkins (Lynette) of Central Point, OR and Larry Hawkins of Las Vegas, NV; her sister-in-law Sally Hawkins of Wilkes Barre, PA; her children, Andy Herbst (Dara) of O'Fallon, MO, Ann Pennell (Gary) of Dyersburg, TN and Alice Claypool (Robert) of Pella, IA; and her grandchildren, Jennen Herbst of Columbia, MO, Carson Claypool of Newton, IA, Taryn Herbst of Charlotte, NC and Connor Claypool of Des Moines, IA.. She is also survived by many family members, nieces, and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to El Dorado Springs Senior Center or Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
