She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Everett and Velma Caroline Adams (Sallee); her husband John Douglas "JD" Wilson; her daughter Karen; and her in-laws, Harold and Ruby Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Mitts and John Douglas Wilson Jr.; her grandchildren, Amanda Murphy, Sarah Hart (Mike), Josh Wilson (Mary), Jessica Wilson and Adam Wilson (Maggie); and her great grandchildren, Teyler, Emma, Lucy Poore, Race, Lydiah, Jameson, Heavyn, Michael, Austin Hart, Alyssa, Brayden, Clayton and Glen Wilson.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of El Dorado Springs (500 S Main St, El Dorado Springs, MO 64744). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
