Astrid left this world on January 4, 2026 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Virgil Brasel. She is survived by: her parents, George Steinschen and Ursula Steinschen; her children, Pamela L. Brasel of Yankton, ND, Michelle M. Rhodes of Texarkana, TX, Eric R. Stacks (Dawne) of Eldon, MO and Rebecca A. Stacks of Rockville, IN; her daughter-in-law Lucy Edwards; her brothers, Klauss and Ingo Peckarek; and her stepson Marco Edwards. She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren and Sixteen Great-Grandchildren Along with her parents.
