He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Kempf and Mildred Kempf (Osick). He is survived by: his wife Rita Steppig; his children, Charlie Kempf II (Amy) and Amy Funderburk (Jack); his brother Clyde Kempf (Terry); his grandchildren, Chas Kempf (Courtney), Samantha Holman (Cade), Karli Engleman (Isaiah), Luke Funderburk (Juliana) and Jackson Funderburk; and his great grandchild Callahan Kempf.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mt Carmel Baptist Church (12 Mt Carmel Rd, Eldon, MO 65026). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Missions Fund at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, to help propagate the gospel.
