He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Dorothy Wendt (Umhoefer); and his brother Paul Wendt. He is survived by: his stepson Justin Brooks (Jessica) of Jefferson City, MO; his granddaughter Blair Brooks; his brother Al Wendt (Marilyn) of LeMars, IA; his siblings-in-law, Mike Webery (Kim), Matt Webery (Tabby) and Mendy Wieberg; his nieces and nephews, Adam Wendt (Shelly), Michael Wendt and Jamie Rothschadl (Josh); and his father William John Wendt. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
