Forrest Ganther Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Forrest Ganther of Eldon, Missouri, who passed away on January 2, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ganther and Ona Mae Ganther (Pruett); his wife Mary "Louise" Ganther; his sister Judy Broaddus (Don); and his sons, Randall Eugene Ganther and Gregory Eugene Ganther.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sheryl Kay Baize (Chester) of Muskogee and Katrina Jo Mawhiney (Steve) of Urbana, Missouri; his sister Jane Koontz (late Dan) of Barksdale, Texas; his grandchildren, Tory Linville (Andrew) of Springfield, MO, Amy Oestreich (Cary Pauls) of Wheatland, Missouri, Cheyenne Green (Hayley) of Springfield, Missouri and Adam Engle of Jefferson City, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Courtney, Gregory, Taylor, Garen and Raelynn; and his great great grandchildren, Danny, Autumn, Carson and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in his name are suggested to the Leukemia Foundation or the Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
