She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Christopher and Ruth Thorson (Mitchell). She is survived by: her daughters, Nina Jarrett of Eldon, MO and Anita Salisbury of Eldon, MO; her siblings, Margie Bunch (Richard) of Eldon, MO, Bill Thorson (Rose) of Eldon, MO, Benny Thorson (Janet) of McLeansboro, IL and Roger Thorson (Sue) of Fairview Heights, IL; her granddaughter Amanda (Cody); her brother Aaron (Jordan); her great grandchild K'Leah (Gabe); her grandchildren, Halle (Gage), Krystopher (Mayla), Dotty and Polly; and her great great grandchildren, Divine and Waylon. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Olean Baptist Church, or Fresh Start Animal Outreach.
