He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Danny Beam. He is survived by: his parents, Raymond Farmer and Magdalene Farmer (Sanning); his wife Mable I. Farmer (Bittle); his daughters, Rita Rippee (Randy) of California, MO, Therese Morris (David) of Henley, MO, Pamela Jones of Henley, MO and Vicki Humphreys (James) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; his siblings, Elaine Colvin (Gary), Noland Farmer, Anna Marie Block (Dutch) and Danny Farmer (Diana); his siblings-in-law, Curtis Bittle, David Bittle and Francis Beam; his siblings' children, Roderic and James Farmer; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Farmer, Josphine Bittle, Mary Kathleen Petet, Patricia Bittle, Barbara Sloan, Gladys Calfee, Queen Gaither, William "Bill" Bittle, Bill Petet, Bill Sloan, Roy Calfee, George Gaither and Don Suttie. He is also survived by Twenty-one Grandchildren and Thirty-eight Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (5 S Oak St, Eldon, MO 65026). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church (274 Hwy H, Eugene, MO 65032).
Memorials in his name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic School or the Parkinson's Foundation.
