He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer "Butter" Humphrey and Jewell Humphrey Winters (Clark); his wife Alice Humphrey; his son-in-law John Burks; his grandson Jeremiah Baquet; and his siblings, Larry Humphrey (Connie) and Alberta Rains (Kenny).

He is survived by: his children, Janet Hibler (Rex), Patty Baquet (Greg), Tammy Kirkweg (Roger), Vicky Burks and Brent Humphrey (Meg); his grandchildren, Austin Hibler, Taylor Hibler, Grant Baquet, Zachary Baquet, Brock Baquet, Sara Beth Beddoe, Adrain Kirkweg, Katie Imler, Jacob Kirkweg, Natasha Schulte, Derek Burks, Dylan Humphrey, Presley Humphrey and Harper Humphrey; and his brother-in-law Jackie Dake (Judy). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
