He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edwin and Gertha Lorene Ridenhour (Owens); and his brothers-in-law, Bill "Pedro" Campbell and Glennon Abel. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Smith; his daughter Lori Rice (Jeff) of Rocky Mount; his sisters, Joan Abel of Belle, Sherry Campbell of Owensville and Cynthia Rutz (Norris) of Ashland; and his pets, Barkley, Majerle and Miller. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (203 W Second St, Belle, MO 65013). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pilot Knob Baptist Church Cemetery (491 Co Rd 716, Belle, MO 65013).
