She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Nichols and Nadine Holliday (Bailey); her husband James Covington; her sister Kathie Withers; and her grandson Dylan Brake.

She is survived by: her daughter Christine Brake (Bryan); her stepchildren, Debbie Pittman (Mike) and Doug Wright (Leonor); and her brothers, Robert Nichols (Dorothy) and Jim Holliday (Cara). She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
