He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ewing and Trellis Allene Bittle (Nichols); and his siblings, Delmar, Jim, Larry, Curt and Beverly Jean Ponder.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Bittle of Eldon; his son Donald Bittle of Fayette; his siblings, Jerry Bittle of Mexico and Ruth Parkes of California; his niece ShyAnn Robinette; and also Phil Ponder.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes-Eldon (902 E North St, Eldon, MO 65026). The military honors will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
