He is survived by: his wife Billie Jo Howton; his children, Sheila McFall (Frank) of Berry, Alabama, Billy Howton (Jeannie) of Berry, Alabama, Bobby Howton of Jasper, Alabama and Ronnie Howton (Amanda) of Clarksville, Tennesse; his grandchildren, Frank Ryan McFall, Mary Howton, Nicole Howton, Kaden Howton and Chad Howton; his sisters, Ann Poulter of Louisville, Kentucky, Bonnie Porter (Fletcher) of Fayette, Alabama and Kathy Jones (Jim) of Berry, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Redmond of Fayette, Alabama and Emma Howton of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
