He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Gore and Lois Gore (Turner); his wife Eleanor Hampton; and his brother Floyd Gore. He is survived by : his children, Larry Tate of New Zealand, Dennis Gore (Sissy) of Ellington, Debbie Whitaker of Piedmont and Donna Adams (Rick) of Piedmont; and his siblings, Denver Gore of Ellington, Gerald Gore of Farmington, Leroy Gore of Salem, Billy Joe Gore of Fredericktown and Pearl Story of Redford. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
