We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2025, at the age of 84, Reda Irene Mathes (Ellington, Missouri), born in Oates, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Reda Irene leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Barton Mathes and Virgil Mathes; and her brothers, Doyle Mathes, John Riley Mathes and Raymond Lee Mathes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Danny Mathes of Branson, Glenda Camden of Farmington and Alta Lunn of Salem; and her close friend Matt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Locust Groves United Baptist Church (8846 State Hwy J, Black, MO 63625). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
