With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rinda Dian Mathes Johnson (Ellington, Missouri), born in Oates, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Darrell Eugene and Odessia Myers (Barton); her husband Raymond Lee Mathes; her former life partner Lingell Mervin Johnson; and her brother Dirk Myers.

She is survived by : her children, Lorna Reese (Ray), Carla Collins and Wade Mathes (Amanda); her brother Randell Myers (Susan); her sister-in-law Janice Myers Dunn; her grandchildren, Trevor Cunningham (Rachael), McKenzie Cunningham, Madeline Holt (Michael), Emma Reese, Brantley Mathes, Riley Mathes and Kaiden Mathes; and her great grandchild Asher Holt. She is also survived by 4 stepchildren and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Locust Grove United Baptist Church (8846 State Hwy J, Black, MO 63625). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
