He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Slaughter and Irene Slaughter (Minks); his spouse Rhudy Jean Slaughter (Tucker) of Williamsville, MO; his son Christopher Slaughter of Dexter, MO; and his stepson Steven W. Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Slaughter of Poplar Bluff, MO and Dina Slaughter of Lawton, OK.; his stepchildren, James Scott of Ellsinore and Rhonda Inurrigarro of DeSoto, TX.; and his siblings, Joyce Goins of Poplar Bluff, Carlene Shepard of Broseley and Carl Ray Slaughter of Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Chapel (606 Walnut St, Doniphan, MO 63935). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
