He was predeceased by : his parents, James W. Boyer and Maudie Adaline Boyer (Durrow); his former life partner Wilma Hillis; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Boyer; and his siblings, George Boyer, Zora Fred, Zella Bilbrey and Bonnie Greenwall of Poplar Bluff.
He is survived by : his wife Mildred "Louise" Aldridge; his sons, Rick Boyer of Springfield, Lewis Boyer (Janet) of Williamsville and Gary Boyer (Nina) of Williamsville; and his stepchildren, Kenny Wood (Audrey) of Cuba, Kevin Wood (Angie) of Sullivan and Carolyn Walker (Wade) of Lebanon, TN. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
