He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Lawrence" Taylor and Maggie May Taylor (Scott); his wife Gloria "Virginia" Taylor; and his siblings, Arvil Taylor, Calvin Taylor, Nora Lee Nelson, Una Mae Reynolds and Theda Taylor.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Fluegge (Clinton) of Troy, MO and Johnny Taylor (Terry) of Shelbina, MO; his brother Bobby Taylor (Doris) of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, Carla (Steve), Molly (Brian), Stacey (Jake), Jared (Crystal), Stephanie, Jonah, Savanah and Autumn (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Emma, Olivia, Isabel, Adalynn, Taylor (Austin), Jacey (Jesse), Bekah (John), Tyson, Alayna, Gavin, Avangeline, Keagan, Tristan and Jaxyn; and his great great grandchild Hudson. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McSpadden Funeral Home (2 N Cane Ave, Ellsinore, MO 63937). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
