She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Jane Uhl Chatman and Orbert Chatman; her siblings, Orbery Chatman, Richard Chatman and Vivian Perez; and her daughter Debbie Rosenkoetter.
She is survived by: her husband O. T. Gilbert of Elsberry; her children, Mike Gilbert, Sr. (Vannette) of Elsberry and Marsha Peterson (Robert) of Troy; her sister Roberta Otz of St. Louis, MO; and her sister-in-law Shirley Chatman of Broken Arrow, OK. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (11 Cardinal Ln, Elsberry, MO 63343). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Elsberry City Cemetery (201 Broadway St, Elsberry, MO 63343).
