He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dempsey Wilson and Laura Mae Kerr (Overton); his wife Marsleen Kerr; his son Curtis Kerr, Jr. (Antonelli Wroten); his siblings, Anna Steele, Hazel Walker, Barbra Jean Salmon, Linda Ross, Robert Kerr, Harold Kerr and Thomas Kerr (Trae) of Rock Island, IL; his son-in-law Ezra Allen Hunter, Sr.; his great grandchild Charlyssa Kerr; his grandchildren, Caytron Kerr (Tina), Devaun, Elaina, Ahmari, Ahlani, Brooklynn, Baylee, Cayllen Cassaday (Zachary), Hunter, Emmallynn, Scarlette, AJ Hunter (Kimberly), Kristopher, Katarina, Donavin, Steven, Mathew, Micheal, Savannah, Danielle, Ezra, Malaya and Kaylina; his godchildren, Shannon Dawkins, Michael Linson, Shea Erler, Amy King and Bryon Curtis Mcclai; and his friend Anita King. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
