With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Boedeker of Elsberry, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Anthony Boedeker; his wife Joan Boedeker; his granddaughter Jaymie Boedeker; and his siblings, Melba Behlmann, Harold Boedeker and Anthony Boedeker, Jr..

He is survived by : his children, Deborah Gulick (Kris) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Herbert "Bert" Boedeker, Jr. (Jean Ann) of Elsberry, Steve Boedeker (Tammie) of Elsberry and Lisa Hamilton (Mike) of Robins, IA; his grandchildren, Geoffrey, Eric (Allie), Cory, Jacqui (Lee), Nic (Samantha), Christine, Ashley and Stevie; his great grandchildren, Maxen, Ava, Emery and Banks; his sister Doris Nassal of Florissant; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Dickherber of O'Fallon and Nick Sommer (Jackie). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
