She was predeceased by: her father Alfred McDonald; her husband Charles R. Palmer; her mother Lulu McDonald; her siblings, Hazel Stillwell, Irene Swan, Buck McDonald, Norman McDonald and Johnny McDonald; her son Dennis R. Palmer; and her grandchildren, Aricca Nicholle Palmer, Michael McCafferty and Jared Bowser.

She is survived by: her children, Debi Bowser (Arnie) of Divide, Daniel Palmer of Elsberry, Donna Hammon (Rich) of St. Peters, Derrick Palmer (Leslie) of East Alton and Dedric Palmer of Elsberry. She is also survived by many family members and friends, especially her children.
