He is survived by: his wife Billie Wheeler of Elsberry; his sons, Calvin Wheeler of O'Fallon, MO, Stanton Wheeler of Troy, MO and Shawn Wheeler of Elsberry; his grandchildren, Jackie, Brad and Samantha; his stepgrandson Nick Pratt; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah and Lailyn; and his sister Beverly Shaw (Harlan Klukow) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elsberry United Methodist Fellowship Hall (109 N 4th St, Elsberry, MO 63343).
