With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Oliver L. Ziemann Sr. of Elsberry, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Oliver left this world on April 8, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ziemann and Katherine Ziemann (Schantz); his wife Delena Ziemann; his siblings, Earl Ziemann and Evelyn Ellis; and his grandson Jeffrey Maichin.
He is survived by: his children, Oliver (Sharon) of Moscow Mills and Shirley Maichin (Raymond) of Troy; and his sisters, Sis Kraichely of St. Charles, Doris Hermsmeyer of Troy, Charlotte Hoeferlin (Elmer) of St. Peters, Linda Fruend (Harry) of Troy and Erma Chapman (Ed) of Foley. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends.
