He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Edison and Virginia Lee Gasperen Wood; his sister Brenda Green; his stepdaughter Jessica Goist; and his son Ricky Wood.

He is survived by : his children, Juliet Hailey (Kevin) of Elsberry and Joshua Wood of Springfield, MO; his stepchildren, Lori Javaux (Jeremy) of Elsberry, Leah Goist of Elsberry, Rachel Williams of Alabama, Mike Ligon (Shellie) of Bowling Green, MO, Patrick Goist of Springfield, MO and Eric Goist of Springfield; his grandsons, Gavin and Gabriel; and his sister Lisa Wood of Elsberry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
