It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Wendell Davis of Elsberry, Missouri, who passed away on June 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie F. Davis and Mabel Long Davis; his daughter Janet Kay; and his brothers, Forrest Long and Thomas Ferry.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Davis of Troy, MO; his son Bryan W. Davis of Choctaw, OK; his son-in-law Michael Spradling of Columbia, IL; and his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Spradling of Akron, OH, Josh Spradling of Kansas City, MO, Vince Spradling of St. Louis, MO and Justin Spradling of Columbia, IL. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law; other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home (107 S 5th St, Elsberry, MO 63343). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elsberry City Cemetery (1100 Hwy B, Berger, MO 63014).
