He is survived by: his sons, Karl Emert of Elsberry and Siegfried "Jay" Tiegs (Lacy) of Columbia, MO; his stepchildren, Brittney Kearnes (Nick) of Elsberry, A. J. Hunter (Kimberly) of Paynesville, MO, Benjamin Eckwood of Elsberry and Dennis Petty of Clarksville, MO; his grandchildren, Dearl, Juanna, Donavin, Steven, Mathew, Michael, Savannah, Danielle, John, Charity of Tye, KK, Katarina, Paige, Samantha, Phoebe, Ben and Anthony; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Malaya, Kalina, Ezra and KyKy; and his siblings, Clifford Emert, Lloyd Emert, Bill Emert, Louise Lawless and Anna Walker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
