He is survived by: his son Brian William (Victoria) of Moncks Corner, SC; his wife Aprile Taylor of Elsberry; his son James Taylor (Jennifer) of Schertz, TX; his grandchildren, James M. Taylor, Jordan A. Taylor and Jacquelyn Caudill; and his great grandchildren, Kimber B. Roy, Kahralyn F. Roy, Ezra W. Roy and Carson N. Caudill.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elsberry First Christian Church (101 N 6th St, Elsberry, MO 63343). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Elsberry First Christian Church (or) the Elsberry Health Care Center in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
