He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel B. Sherlock and Ruth Snead Sherlock; and his brothers, Ronald Sherlock and Richard Sherlock. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sherlock; his children, Jill (Rick Watson), Samuel B. Sherlock III and Steven B. Sherlock; his granddaughters, Ellyanna and Amya; and his friend Joe Duggins.
