He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Sue Kearby Wheeler. He is survived by: his father Wilber "Sonny" Wheeler; his close friend Marcia Duncan; his children, Justin Wheeler (Kim) of Sikeston, Missouri, Hollie Wheeler (Kyle Hale) of Essex and Hannah Gregory (Matt King) of Essex, Missouri; his brothers, Scott Wheeler (Laurie) of Essex and David Wheeler (Melina) of Essex, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Wheeler, Adley Wheeler, Tucker Hughes, Chet Hughes, Beckett Hughes, Waylon Gregory, Harper Gregory, Hollis Gregory, Kayden Hale and Drake Hale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and at 2:30 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841).
