He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bittle and Lizzie Bittle; his siblings, Alfred Earl Bittle, Queen Gaither, Gladys Calfee, Mary Kathleen Petet, Barbara Sloan, Mabel Farmer and William Bittle; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Bittle, Josephine Bittle, Don Suttie, Bill Petet, Bill Sloan, Roy Calfee, George Gaither, Dan Beam and LeeRoy Farmer.

He is survived by: his siblings, Francis Beam of Council Bluffs, Martha Suttie of Olean and Curt Bittle of Eugene; and his close friend Kay Baxter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
