David Hartung Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Hartung of Eureka, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that David's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Hartung and Carl "Buddy" Hartung. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hartung; his brother Jim; and his niece Carrie. He is also survived by many cousins who were part of the extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (5347 Donovan Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109).
