He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Wesley and Edna Jane Coker (Gibson); his sister Tess; his brothers-in-law, Jess and David; and his pet Pretty Boy.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joe, Catie, Addison, Teddy and Ashland; his wife Susan Jo Jenkins (Kidd); his pet Clyde; his children, David Coker (Wanni), Dorothy Coker, Bill Jenkins (Sarah), Betsy Evans (Robbie) and Marty Jenkins (Amy); his sisters, Virginia McNulty, Maudie Martin (Jimmy) and Peggy Louviere; and his son-in-law Charles McKenzie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and countless grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Kaufman Fund at thekaufmanfund.org/donate (https://www.thekaufmanfund.org) which supports veterans, or any fund that supports the eradication of Alzheimer's…causes that are very close to the family's heart.
