He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Waddell and Katherine Waddell; and his brother Charles Waddell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Waddell; his children, Vicki Vogt, Chuck Waddell (Kim), Randy Waddell (Lisa), Brian Waddell (Cathy) and Vince Waddell (Laura); his grandchildren, Adrienne Fink (Mike), Torri Stark (Brandon), Liz Waddell, Kathleen Waddell, Nicole Waddell, Garrett Waddell, Spencer Waddell, Rachel Chetney (Bill), Christin Schlake (Sean), Hannah Lawless (Tommy), Ethan Waddell, Jacob Waddell, Abbey Ebert (Kyle), Raegan Waddell (Doug Queen), Zoey Zlantic and Weston Zlantic; his great grandchildren, Henry, Kason, Gunnar, Kolten, Layne, Killian, Kipley, Dierks, Harper, Indi, Stella, Liam, Cohan, Marin, Louisa, Faye and Tillie; and his siblings, Margaret Korvas, John Waddell, Frank Waddell and Joe Waddell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church (350 E 4th St, Eureka, MO 63025).
