Dorothy May Kackley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy May Kackley (Ewing, Missouri), who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gideon Lair and Dorothy May Katzell; her spouse Ira Kackley; her siblings, Barbara Myers, Richard Lair, James Lair, Forest Lair and Don Lair; and her son Daryl Kackley.

She is survived by: her close friend J. L. Jones of LaGrange, MO; her children, Larry Kackley (Brenda) of Quincy, IL, Charyl Liesen (Gary) of LaGrange, MO and Connie Jo Hollensteiner of Quincy, IL; her grandchildren, Christopher Kackley, Jessica Crosby, Nicole Echternkamp (Kye), Joshua Dietrich (Ivy), Brody Hollensteiner (Emmy) and Brock Hollensteiner (Hayley); and her brother Leslie Lair (Dariva) of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
