He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hooper and Gayle Elizabeth Henderson (Northcraft). He is survived by: his children, Gaylene Ann Hammer (Brad) of Des Moines, IA, John William Henderson Jr. (Julie) of Kirksville, MO and Larry Dean Henderson (Lisa) of Steffenville, MO; his siblings, Joyce Bilderback (Roger) of Ballwin, MO and Gary Henderson (Polly); his brother-in-law Robert Gottreu (Jackie) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Bryan Viles (Jaunine), Adam Viles (Amber), Tori Munyon (Brandon), Abby Richards (David), Andrew Mikolajczak (Lorrin), Landon Henderson (Maeghan), Linsay Gashwiler (Trey), Michelle Swanson (Jesse) and Bryson Hammer (Molly); his great grandchildren, Halle, Lexi, Mya of Marleigh, M. J., Braylon, Nolan, Kimberlynn, Caydence, Aria, Ezra, Hudson, Jackson, Callahan, Ryson, Emmett, Griffin, Charlie and Brooks; and his great great grandchild Magnolia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coder Funeral Chapel (104 Main St, La Belle, MO 63447). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
It is the request of the Henderson Family that no flowers be sent. Instead, memorials may be made to the Central Missouri Old Tractors Association or Heartland Resources.
