It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Wayne Atkins of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Amy Atkins; his children, Finley and Daxton Atkins of Excelsior Springs, MO; his parents, Rick Atkins and Lori Atkins of Rosendale, MO; his brother Kevin; his sister-in-law Stephanie Atkins; his sibling's children, Nick and Emily Atkins of St. Joseph, MO; his parents-in-law, Dan and Linda Kimberlin of Livingston, TX; his siblings-in-law, Brian and Megan Kimberlin; his nieces, Grace and Izzabelle Kimberlin of Kearney, MO; and his grandmother Lois Robbins of Savannah, MO. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hidden Valley Funeral Home - Kearney (925 State Rte 92, Kearney, MO 64060).
On July 22, 2025 Tony helped those in need for the final time by saving the lives of 3 individuals and helping multiple others through organ donation.
