It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Craig M Nessa of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Craig M Nessa to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Nessa and Geneva Nessa (Tandy); his parents-in-law, Oswald and Imo Gene Danielson; his siblings-in-law, Steve Lettow, Frank Danielson and Treva Danielson; his nephew Tyler Danielson; and his uncles, Milford Nessa (Blanche), Orville Nessa (Helen) and Tommy Nessa (Alice).
He is survived by: his wife Winnie (Winnie); his children, Stephanie Lingenfelter (Erich) of Kansas City, MO and Brock Nessa (Mitsi) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Corey Firebaugh of Excelsior Springs, MO, Amber Dailey (Eric) of Kearney, MO, Emory Nessa of Kansas City, MO and Emma Lingenfelter of Kansas City, MO; his great grandchildren, Milo and Millie Dailey of Kearney, MO.; his brother Chuck Nessa (Ann) of Buffalo, NY; and his brothers-in-law, Ona Mae Lettow of Alden, IA, David Danielson of Elkhorn, NE, Steve Danielson (Ana) of Carlisle, IA, Kay Lynn Sharples (Mike) of Hinsdale, IL and Jim Danielson (Jackie) of Villa Park, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs (5951 MO-10, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Luthern Church (1215 Baldwin St, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024).
