McElwee, Justin T. Dickey and Aaron S. Dickey; his son James Brent McElwee of Excelsior Springs; his grandchildren, Robert Fisher, Carson J. McElwee and Dina D. McElwee; his daughter Kimberly A. Sanson (Gary R.) of Excelsior Springs; his grandson Jacob R. Simmons (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Amora L. Simmons and Brody R. Sanson (Lindsay); his son Kent McElwee; his son-in-law Jeffrey Hamilton Hamilton (Zirlinda); his grandchildren, Lorissa, Laci and Lilli Hamilton; and also, Kenadee K. Sanson and Leighton J. Sanson. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

“Brent and and family, I want to express my condolences to you and your family. I just had a conversation with a friend and thought of my best friend in high school Brent and the lessons I learned during my time with Brent and Earl. My prayers are with the family and Brent. Although I am a distance away, my life was positively influenced (and quietly) influenced by the McEwee family even to this day they are a part of my life. Paul Einerson and Julie Einerson”
