We are sad to announce that, on December 8, 2025, at the age of 80, Gary Roof of Excelsior Springs, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Gary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gary has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roof and Hazel Roof; and his brothers, Wayne and Richard. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Adams (David) of Excelsior Springs and Jason Roof (Renee) of Orrick; his grandchildren, Meranda Lefebvre (Aaron), Chase Adams (Taylor), Peyton Macaluso, Rachelle Wortley and Kyle Roof (Sydney); and his siblings, Karen Coffey of Hinton, OK, Letha Ward of Kernersville, NC and Perry Roof of Excelsior Springs, MO.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
