Howard Bradshaw Obituary
Howard Bradshaw, 85, of Excelsior Springs/Gladstone, passed away February 24, 2020.
He was born on July 1, 1934 in Lock Springs, Mo., to Grover and Mary (Eads) Bradshaw. Howard graduated from Chillicothe High School. Upon graduating he joined the Army and served for two years. Howard owned and operated Stephenson-Yost Steel Company until retirement in 1985. He, his wife, Betty, and five sons, raised thoroughbred horses and established Bradshaw Racing Stables. The biggest legacy he left on this earth was his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Tim (Barb), Chris (Lynn), Randy (Laurie), Keith (Renee), and Kevin; grandchildren, Jake (Brittany), Leah (Ryan), Eric (Sarah), Kaitlyn, Brooke, Kyle, Ty, Kaylea, Tad, and Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Avery, Braxton, Crayton, Demie, and Zoey; siblings, Helen and Ritchie; along with many other extended family members whom he loved dearly.
Howard was a true hero, husband, father, grandpa, and grandpa great. What a life we get to learn from and celebrate. His smile and fun loving nature will be missed by many.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by Celebration of Life from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Excelsior Springs, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs.
