With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Ellis Clemons (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), born in Missouri City, Missouri, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Clemons and Julia Chaney; and his siblings, Emma Jean Garner, Dorothy Hart, Lucille Baillie, Wanda Clemons and Jimmy Clemons.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Clemons; and his children, Gary Clemons (Shelli) of El Cajon, Calif., Kim Piepmeier of Excelsior Springs, Cathy Logston (Tim) of Excelsior Springs, Gregory Clemons, Jeffrey Clemons, Sarah Smothermon (Wesley), Christopher Stark, John Logston and Chad Logston. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Boys Town.
