With sadness, we share the passing of John Michael Schwarz (Excelsior Springs, Missouri). John Michael, born on March 11, 1944, passed away on July 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Allen Schwarz and Mary Ann Schwarz (Lewis). He is survived by: his children, Angela Braswell (Clint) of Kansas City, Missouri and Jeffrey Schwarz of Prairie Village, Kansas; his grandson Jackson Braswell of Kansas City, Missouri; and his siblings, Steve Schwarz (Jana) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Linda Jones (Joe) of Lawson, Missouri, David Schwarz (Karen) of Lawson and Hank Schwarz (Sharon) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund or Fisher House Foundation.
