He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Andrew and Katherine Aileen Lamar, Sr. (Canfield); his son Jacob Samuel; and his siblings, Richard A. Lamar, Jr., Roy Lee Lamar, Mark W. Lamar, Sr. and Donna Marie Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lamar (Jossymar) of Liberty, Betsy Hays (Shane) of Richmond and Bethany Miller (Jason) of Excelsior Springs; his grandchildren, Braydon Hays (Gracie), Lacey Miller (Daniel), Logan Miller (Ally), Jordan Miller, Adalyn Hays, Emily Miller, Jacob Lamar and Anabella Lamar; his great grandchildren, Harrison Hays and Winston Hays; and his brothers, John R Lamar, Jim Lamar (Nancy) and Don "Buster" Lamar (Donna).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawson Baptist Church (18603 US-69, Lawson, MO 64062). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Luke Lamar Memorial Fund.
