He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Bowker and Marjorie Bowker (Ellsworth); his sister Judy Hees; his former wife Ruth Bowker (Jackson); his wife Bertha Bowker (Windsor); and his stepgrandson Matthew Hylton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Venette Brock (Tony Preston) and Lynn Hylton (Russell); his grandchildren, Loran (Brock) McDonald (Lloyd) (Brock), Colin Brock (Kailee LaFollette), Conrad Brock (Shisi Wolff), Lana (Teegarden) Kipping (Brian) and Jackson Hylton (Cydnee Pritchard); his stepgrandson Marshall Hylton; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Layla, Ethan, Maelynn and Owen.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course Club House (1201 Golf Hill Dr, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
