Richard Byron Sager Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Byron Sager (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Sager and Ethel Sager (Clark); his siblings, Bill, Frank, Kenneth Sager, Velma Newby, Garnet Lindley, Donna Saner, Patty Childs and Rose Childs; his son Brian Sager; and his great grandchild Dakota Good.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Sager; his children, Gail Colvin (Jim), Shanon Colvin (David) of Excelsior Springs and Doug Sager (Dawn) of Commerce City, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Meg, Aimie, Shea (Scott), Monica (Kurt), Erin, Byron (Mary Kate), Leslie (Josh), Brent (Charles), Amanda (Richard) and Jake (Caci). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
