He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rice (Fisher) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; his children, Brian Rice (Christi) of Excelsior Springs, Brent Rice (Shannon) of Richmond and Becky Sznejkowski (Spencer) of Arroyo Grande, California; his grandchildren, Brad Rice (Corin) of Excelsior Springs and Lela Rice of St. Louis; his great grandchildren, Zachary Rice of Excelsior Springs, Madison Wortley of Sweet Springs, Mason Snyder of Sweet Springs and James Webb Jr. of Sweet Springs, Missouri; and his siblings, Austin Rice (Bernadette) of Independence, Marjorie Grisham (Mike) of Osceola, Dayl Rice (Cindy) of Richmond, Sandra McLaughlin (Mark) of Gladstone and Glenn Rice (Dorothy) of McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs or the Parkinson's Foundation, in Steve's memory.
