He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Clarence and Caroline "Carrie" Sharp; his sister Merna; his former wife Martha Faye Sharp (Gill); and his wife June Carmichael.
He is survived by: his sister Marion; his daughters, Cathy Moore (Mike) and Connie Brenton (Loren); his grandchildren, Carrie Hammond (Jeff), Stuart Kline, Mac Moore (Taylor), Chad Brenton (Hannah) and Ryan Brenton (Lindsey); his great grandchildren, Jaylin Sayers, Maven Moore, Booker Moore, Elaina Brenton, Corinne Brenton and Avery Brenton; and his children, Michael Carmichael (Dodie) and Vicky McCoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Parkinson's Foundation, Heartland Chapter, or Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
